Started in 1971 by a small plant in the business of wire drawing, specializing in drawing black annealed wire for the construction industry. The industry expanded gradually into various branches of wire drawing. It started branching in the drawing process by drawing various diameters of low carbon steel and high carbon steel.

Now MF Group has over 30 years of experience as the leading wire drawing company in the Middle East. Throughout this period of time, MF Group has been able to have a sizable market share in many branches of the wire industry such as Steel wool, Galvanized wire, Fencing wire, Barbed Wire, Nails, Steel Fibers for Concrete, Steel Fibers for Brake Pads, and last but not least drawn and annealed wire.
